Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of its conclusion; you will not be required to provide a
reason for doing so.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier,
has acquired physical possession of the items in question.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send us (Universitätsbibliothek Erlangen-Nürnberg, FAU University Press, Universitätsstr. 4, 91054 Erlangen, Telefon: +49 9131 85-22155, Fax: +49 9131 85-29309, E-Mail: university-press(at)fau.de) a definitive declaration of your decision to withdraw from this contract
(e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email). You can but are not obligated to use the attached
Declaration of withdrawal form. It is sufficient to dispatch your declaration of
withdrawal within the cancellation period for it to be valid.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract we will return all payments that we have received from you, including shipping costs,
as soon as possible and within 14 days from the date on which we receive your declaration of withdrawal from this contract.
We will employ the same method used for the original transaction to return your payments unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
You will not be charged for the return of your payments. We may refuse to reimburse you until you have returned the items or
until you have provided proof of return of the items, whichever is earlier.
You will be obligated to return or release the items to us as soon as possible and at the latest within fourteen days from the
date on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. You will be deemed to have met this requirement if you dispatch
the items within fourteen days. You will bear the direct costs of returning the items. You will only be liable for any reduction in
the value of the items if this reduction in value is attributable to your handling of the items in a way that is not required to
verify their nature, features or functions.
