This volume presents the printed versions of five lectures focussing on the issue of 'memory'. These lectures were held on the occasion of the Erlanger Universitätstage from 23 February to 23 March 2021 in Amberg and from 21 October to 25 November 2021 in Ansbach. Five Erlangen scholars and scientists, Prof. Dr. Yesim Erim, PD Dr. Sven Grampp, Prof. Dr. Frieder R. Lang, Dr. Michael Schwarz and PD Dr. Gerd Sebald, – representing the disciplines of Psychotherapy, Media Studies, Psychogerontology, Neuropsychology and Sociology – delivered enthralling lectures analysing diverse complex phenomena of 'memory' from their respective specialist perspectives. Despite the high intellectual standards of these papers they remain understandable to a wide audience.
