On behalf of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), the University Library manages the publishing house "FAU University Press". The aim is the professional and cost-effective publication of selected works by university members and institutions of FAU in digital Open Access  form and optionally in print. Our publications cover the full range of disciplines taught at FAU.

A distinctive editorial policy, corporate design and qualitative assurance is at the core of all of our products. As a member of the AG Universitätsverlage (Working Group of University Presses), we are committed to their quality standards for open access books.
